LegalArt Names Dominique Breard as New Program Coordinator
(October 3, 2011, Miami, FL) LegalArt, an arts service nonprofit, is proud to announce and welcome Dominique Breard as the organization’s Program Coordinator.
Ms. Breard, who has an extensive background in the art industry as a professional artist, curator, art teacher, Gallery manager, and exhibition coordinator, will be responsible for coordinating LegalArt programming, raising local and international awareness, developing professional and community partners, and collaborating with residency artists.
“The expansion of our administrative and creative team strengthens our ability to create partnerships and provide quality programming to empower artists to create successful and sustainable arts businesses,” noted Kathleen Carignan, Executive Director of LegalArt. “Ms. Breard’s creative mind, analytical character, and flair for organization will greatly benefit LegalArt, our clients, artists, partners, and volunteers.” LegalArt, which opened its residency program in October 2010, will continue to expand and strengthen programs including SeminArt (professional education workshops), LegalLink (legal assistance for artists), ResArt (incubator residency for artists), and other programs.
Before joining LegalArt, Ms. Breard worked as curatorial advisor with Spinello Projects on the Littlest Sister Art Fair and served as manager of Wolfgang Roth & Partners Fine Art, where she produced and curated exhibitions including blue-chip artists such as David LaChapelle, Bert Stern, Helmut Newton and Ilya & Emilia Kabakov. Prior to moving to Miami, Ms. Breard served as manager and co-curator of Isidro Miranda Gallery in Buenos Aires making it one of the city’s most prominent galleries within five years.
Ms. Breard has a BFA in Visual Arts from IUNA National Art University, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
