LegalLink

The attorneys who participate in the LegalLink program assist artists on a pro bono, reduced rate, or barter basis. LegalLink partners with the Miami-Dade County Bar Association’s “Put Something Back” program which credits participating attorneys with pro bono hours. We connect artists who need legal assistance in areas as diverse as estate planning, family law, immigration, contracts, business law, real estate, taxes, copyright and trademark with members of Miami’s legal community. For many artists this program has been a vital resource in their attempts to protect their work and empower their careers.

LegalLink also coordinates legal clinics during which Miami attorneys and law students provide artists and arts organizations with one time legal consultations. The clinic takes place twice a year in the spring and the fall.
